Jari Valley REDD+ Project
Jari Valley covers several productive activities – from forest management, to sustainable agriculture and extractivism – being a region of great social and environmental importance, and constantly threatened by human activity. Jari’s Group properties are located in this context and have great regional importance. Aiming to curb the constant threats towards the area, the Amapá & Pará REDD+ Projects seek to promote qualification of the sustainable forest management and agroextractivism productions, promoting the well-being of the communities turning them into partners for maintenance of the forest resources.
