Manoa REDD+ Project

The Manoa Farm, managed by Triângulo Group which is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is a world reference when it comes to sustainable tropical timber production. The project area is active as a guardian to the rich, endangered biodiversity of the region, also serving as an ecological corridor among the local preservation areas, forming a forest block measuring 480 thousand hectares. In addition, the project also contributes with the qualification of small producers and local associations, young people of the region and employees towards sustainable management techniques, so as to spread best practices of land use and forest conservation.
