We are proud to win for the fourth time the “Best Project Developer, Forest and Land use” award offered by Environmental Finance, the main communication vehicle around the world on environmental asset markets.
In an open vote conducted between companies that purchase carbon credits and other representatives within this market, the “Voluntary Carbon Markets Rankings” lists the best developers of globally significant carbon projects through the customer’s perception; it is an important recognition of our work and our REDD+ projects as a viable, meaningful and effective mechanism of change.
This year, the election received more than 2,000 votes, with 14 companies awarded whereas only two were Brazilian.
Being a reference in this area is even more gratifying in our current scenario, when the engagement of people, companies and governments is of great focus to combating climate change, conserving biodiversity and supporting the sustainable development of communities. This scenario has even shaped the investment market, which is increasingly aware of the fundamental role of companies and organizations as agents of change.
